New Muscle Builder Hits the Shelves

volcano-article(Boston) – If you’ve been to GNC, you’ve probably seen it. In between the rows of powders and pills, there’s a secure plexiglass ‘safe,’ with only a few boxes locked inside. Out of the tens of thousands of products sold by the nutrition giant, one muscle-building supplement, called VolcaNO, sits locked away and out of reach. There must be a reason?

And here’s something else that’s puzzling. Because we all like to touch and feel what we buy, you would think VolcaNO sales might be few and far between. Surprisingly, even though it’s out of immediate reach, VolcaNO has turned into one of GNC’s most promising products in a very short time. People obviously want what’s behind the glass.

Why Does VolcaNO Need Special Protection?

“It’s human nature,” says the Chief Marketing Officer of Force Factor. “People tend to crave what works and what’s in high demand,” he explained. “That’s why VolcaNO is kept apart from the rest of the pack. And even though we regret that customers don’t have hands-on access, in an odd way I guess we should be flattered. VolcaNO has such a cult-like reputation, particularly among serious athletes, that some guys can’t keep their hands off of it.”

VolcaNO is a different breed… a vein-annihilating formula that’s way beyond single-action nitric oxide boosters. It starts with high quality L-citrulline (not the cheaper, weaker malate form) for an explosive NOx boost. Then adds a highly concentrated creatine HCL for superior micro-dosing and amazing strength. Finally, there’s agmatine to tie it all together into one very smart, very serious muscle– building powerhouse.

Within a short amount of time, men who had taken VolcaNO reported feeling:

  • Amplified energy and long-lasting pumps
  • Incredible muscle gains
  • Drastic increases in strength
  • Faster recovery
  • Total body transformation

The makers of VolcaNO are so confident in their new product they are offering every man in the country a risk-free sample. If you’re interested in giving it a shot, claim a sample here. If you are not able to find a bottle online, you may be able to find VolcaNO at your local GNC…. but under lock and key.

P.S. You don’t have to steal a bottle to try VolcaNO. Just get a risk-free sample and see for yourself what all the buzz is about.

New Fat Burner About to Take GNC by Storm

probioslim-250x170It makes so much sense, dieters are wondering why someone hadn’t thought of it before.

(Boston) – Here’s the thing about diets, you have to make a bad compromise. Whether its low carb, high fat, low fat, paleo, glycemic index or any of the other fads, their overly-restrictive food limitations leave you tired, out of sync, and back at square one.

There are natural ways that can have you looking thin and trim without giving up your favorite foods. Start today with an innovative supplement called ProbioSlim. The brainchild of Harvard– and MIT-trained researchers in Boston, ProbioSlim is weight loss and digestive health in one formula with an added energy kick to help fight cravings and overcome diet fatigue.

ProbioSlim had its soft launch just a few weeks ago, and the response was overwhelmingly strong. So strong in fact, that top retailers like Walmart have eagerly requested and recently been stocked with full supplies of the product. When America’s largest physical retailer picks up the product because of the overwhelming demand, there has to be a good reason why. And there is, it’s highly effective! So pick up a full supply at the Walmart near you today or keep reading to learn about how you can receive a free two-week sample online with just a few simple clicks.

Why ProbioSlim?

Leading research has uncovered something surprising: that a probiotic with a fat burning component mixed with a small amount of exercise can help improve digestive health, get rid of belly bloat, rev your metabolism, and help you lose fat from all over, including your waist, hips, thighs, and belly.

This isn’t some miracle diet pill. It’s the latest in probiotic health, combined with compounds to boost a sluggish metabolism that’s often the result of the failed, crazy diets you’ve tried.

You’re Not a Kid Anymore… Get Serious About Your Weight and Your Health

Stop and think. If those TV diet pills worked as they claim, why are you still overweight? If “real life” people say they lost weight magically and miraculously through the popular fads, why have you never met anyone who can replicate their success?

Be serious, get healthy, and start losing weight by first getting your digestion on track.

What Makes It Work?

ProbioSlim researchers credit their success to what they call the LS3644 Whole Health Superblend, which combines a powerful probiotic complex along with a thermogenic component to help you lose weight, feel less bloated, and look much slimmer in four important ways:

  • Boosts Your Metabolism to Burn Fat Fast
ProbioSlim contains Super EGCG Green Tea Leaf Extract, a powerful herb that increases your energy (without the “jitters”) and propels your metabolism into high gear.
  • Adds Much-Needed Energy
It takes energy to control cravings, to keep you focused, motivated, and off the couch. Without it, any diet is doomed to failure.
  • Promotes Better Intestinal Health
ProbioSlim includes Lactospore®, a powerful probiotic that encourages optimal intestinal health to improve digestion.
  • Reduces Gas, Bloating, and Constipation
ProbioSlim’s powerful probiotic complex helps reduce “belly bulge” so you can start looking thinner… fast.

You’re Not 20 Anymore

Finally, there’s something you can do to make losing weight easy again. And let’s be honest: if you can’t remember to take two ProbioSlim capsules each day, put down the snacks, and make an effort to get moving… well, you don’t deserve to be thin.

“I can’t afford it.”

OK, the makers of ProbioSlim have taken that objection off the table. They are offering everyone who has the spirit to stop complaining and start doing something a free 14-day sample. Then you can see for yourself how good ProbioSlim can make you feel, and watch as your tighter, leaner body begins to take shape. Click here to claim your sample.

If you’re still not ready to get your digestion and your body in shape, or if you’ve just flat out given up, I guess it’s time to pick up another bag of chips and reach for the TV remote. Bon appetite!

Protecting Credit Cards From RFID Scanning Theft

Protecting-Credit-Cards-From-RFID-Scanning-TheftFor as long as civilizations have used money – from ancient coins to modern paper bills – there have been pickpockets. Stealing cash by stealth from individuals as they go about in public has been a form of robbery for literally thousands of years, but with the recent introduction of “smart” contactless credit cards, a new form of electronic pickpocketing has become even easier. It is now possible for someone to have their pocket “picked” from a distance, without the thief even having to physically touch the victim’s wallet. Fortunately, there are ways to protect from this new high-tech pickpocketing.

Credit cards were originally conceived of not just a way of borrowing money, or at least deferring payment by the consumer, but also as more convenient and safer than carrying cash. Even if a card owner was robbed or otherwise lost the card, a quick telephone call would cancel the card and render it useless. A weakness in the security system began to be exploited in the 1960s, though, when transactions required an imprint of the card and a signature by the card holder on three copies of the receipt: one each for the card holder, the merchant and the bank. Thieves discovered that a record of the card number and signature were available on the carbon paper used between these copies. This security flaw was plugged by paperless scanning technology, introduced with magnetic strips attached to the back of the card. The data was read electronically by a reader when the card was swiped during the purchase transaction, without the need of any paper records.

In the late 1990s, a new form of smart credit cards began to be introduced into the marketplace. These use radio frequency identification (RFID) microchips imbedded into the card. These chips carry much more information about the credit card account, are more difficult and expensive to counterfeit and were much easier and faster to use when charging a purchase: The card no longer had to be swiped through a reader, but merely waved in front of a reader which would electronically query the microchip for the information required to complete the transaction. Unfortunately, this “contactless” technology also exposes the cardholders to a new form of fraud: If they can be read by authorized readers, the cards can also be read by unauthorized ones and the information used to make fraudulent purchases. It is pickpocketing crossed with identify theft.

With an easily-obtained contactless credit card reader, a laptop computer containing the required software and memory and a power source, a credit card thief can read and record the information from credit cards, right through the cloth and leather of pockets, purses, briefcases and bags of anyone just a few feet away. All the thief has to do is carry their credit card trapping system unobtrusively in a crowd – from a mall to the lobby of a hotel – and he can harvest a large number of data sets. The reader’s signal identifies queries and records the information from the RFID chips, including the credit card number, expiration date, name of the card holder and a one-time CVV security code. The only defense the contactless chips offer is that the CVV code can only be used once, for the next transaction; if the card holder uses the card for another transaction before the thief does, the system will note the discrepancy and automatically block any transaction with that card number. Of course, the work-around for a credit card thief is to have a set of fraudulent transactions pre-loaded in their systems, to allow the card number to be used as soon as it is stolen.

Anyone whose credit card has an RFID chip imbedded is at risk for this form of fraud. How do they know if their cards use this technology? It’s difficult to know: While some smart contactless cards are marked with names such as “PayPass” or logos marked with “RFID” or “Radio,” the issuers are not required to identify the cards using this technology. With nearly 400 million credit card accounts active in the United States, as of the third quarter of 2013 (the most recent period for which there are data), the number of smart contactless cards that are potentially open to theft is very large.

Fortunately, there are products already on the market to guard against unauthorized RFID scanning and data theft. Protective sleeves for individual cards or multiple cards, wallets and even money belts are readily available on the market. These are made from material that blocks the signals from the readers, preventing the data on the chips from being transferred. If used consistently, they will frustrate electronic pickpockets.

Beauty treatments courtesy of your kitchen

By J. A. Young

Beauty-treatments-courtesy-of-your-kitchenMany women spend a great deal on beauty products each month. Yet did you know you probably have many great beauty ingredients on hand in your kitchen? Many women quite prefer to use natural ingredients from home as opposed to chemicals or questionable ingredients contained in commercial beauty products. Moreover, once you discover that natural kitchen ingredients work great, you’ll be able to procure them for a fraction of the cost of most beauty products available in stores.

Moisturizer

If you have a sunburn, you’ll love the cool and soothing relief of the gel from this plant that can thrive right on your kitchen window sill!

Strawberry Whitener
Smashed strawberries not only taste wonderful, but they can even enhance the look of your teeth. For even more whitening strength, be sure to add some baking soda and you’ll have a most potent beauty treatment for your smile. Try performing this strawberry treatment every other week and see how great the results can be.

The beauty treatment of ancient queens like Cleopatra, milk can give you silky smooth skin and is far cheaper than many other types of beauty products. Simply grab a sponge and give your body a refreshing milk bath. Milk is plentiful and economical to buy. Try it out and see for yourself why the queens of old had such silky smooth skin.

Honey Facial
If you want to enhance your skin with a radiant treatment, a honey mask is the perfect solution. Be sure to use natural honey and apply a thin coat to your face. Allow the honey mask to remain on your skin for five minutes. Afterward you can rinse your skin with warm water. Like milk, honey was used by ancient women for achieving beautiful, moisture-rich skin. Honey also has natural anti-bacterial elements that will enhance the health of your skin.

Scrub
A mix of olive and sea salt makes for an excellent exfoliating scrub. The sea salt is ideal for exfoliating while the olive oil makes a splendid moisturizing agent. You’ll love how easy this mix is to make right at your kitchen table. Try it out whenever you need to exfoliate.

These tips and natural ingredients can save you money while enhancing your beauty. Try them to see why these remedies have worked for ages. If you find they work for you, you might even check into other great natural beauty treatments that you can make right at home.

Antarctica Is Melting – What Does It Mean for Humanity?

Antarctica-Is-Melting-What-Does-It-Mean-for-HumanityTalk about the implications of climate change, though it never dwindles completely in this day and age, is once again in full swing. This is because of the results of a study which has found that the ice sheets of Antarctica are melting at an alarming rate. In fact, it seems that the rate at which the ice is melting has doubled since the last survey.

The study was carried out by two teams of scientists, one from the UK Centre for Polar Observation and Modelling and one from the University of Leeds. Both used data which was collected by the CryoSat-2 satellite mission.

The results showed that Antarctica was losing 159 gigatonnes of ice each year from 2010 to 2013, which is a 50% increase over the amount which was being lost during a survey carried out from 2005 to 2010.

If you’re having a hard time putting this into perspective, that much ice is enough to raise ocean levels by about half a millimeter every year. While this might not seem like much, keep in mind that Greenland and Arctic ice is melting at a faster rate than ever as well.

What Impact Will This Have On Humanity?

Rising sea levels pose a significant risk to humanity quite simply because a large percentage of the human population lives in coastal areas.

It is estimated that close to 635 million people currently live within a mere 30 feet of sea level, putting them at great risk should ocean levels rise more rapidly. The majority of the world’s most heavily populated cities are also located very close to coastal areas. Rising sea levels would cause widespread damages in these areas, perhaps even to the extent of making them unlivable.

Of particular concern are the world’s island nations, where serious flooding and coastal erosion could create millions of climate refugees. Every year during the rainy season we witness the devastation that is wrought by storms and flooding in countries such as the Philippines. Rising sea levels could mean that such flooding becomes a permanent reality, and it could also lead to a greater frequency and severity of storms such as last year’s Typhoon Haiyan.

Aside from the immediate physical devastation that rising sea levels can cause to coastal inhabitants, there are also several long-term effects that need to be considered. For example, rising sea levels can result in rising water tables, the intrusion of saltwater into our freshwater supplies, and major impacts on agriculture.

By interfering with agricultural and economic activities, rising sea levels could affect all of humanity, not just those of us who live on the coast. Though it is impossible to tell just yet how much of a rise we may be in for, the latest data from Antarctica does not seem to bode well. Nevertheless, there are several projects already in place around the world which are attempting to get a handle on this situation, and this data is going to be extremely beneficial in helping humanity prepare for and deal with the future.

Collecting Cookbooks: How To Keep Home Menus Exciting

Collecting-Cookbooks-How-to-Keep-Home-Menus-ExcitingIt happens to everyone, sooner or later: Menu burn-out. Fixing dinner can become a chore, not because of the preparation, cooking and clean-up afterwards but because families – even people living alone – can soon run out of ideas for something new and exciting to cook. When the question, “What’s for dinner?” causes a feeling of frustration rather than anticipation, it’s time to look for inspiration.

There are plenty of sources for new meal ideas, of course: two entire television networks are devoted to food and cooking, but actual demonstration, here’s-how-to-fix-a-dish shows have long since been outweighed by contests, restaurant tours and programs in which chefs visit exotic locations where the menus consist entirely of bugs and offal. Every bookstore has a food section, but the books are not only expensive but trendy and all too often tied to diets. Online databases of recipes are so large that the feeling of being in a rut is soon replaced by one of being at the bottom of a food avalanche. Where to go to, then, for some simple, easy inspiration on how to broaden a mealtime experience?

Collecting Cook Books

The market for new cook books is strong, and has been for the better part of the past hundred years. As much as publishers constantly crank out new cook book titles every year – the New York Times even has a special classification on their best seller list, titled “Food and Fitness,” which may be part of the problem – it’s a strange fact that the used copies are usually sold for pennies on the dollar of their original published price. It’s like left-overs, only on paper. But everyone knows – or should – that left-overs can be very nice. In every used book store, juntique shop, garage sale, church basement jumble fund-raiser and resale store, cook books are practically sold by the pound. With some discriminating selection, they can provide just the inspiration anyone needs to break out of the food blahs and find some new favorite recipes. Here’s what to look for.

Cook Book Classics

Everyone, everyone, should have at least one of the classic cook books in their kitchen. The great thing about them is not just that they have proven their value over the generations, but there are so many used copies on the market that they can be picked up for less than the cost of a drive-through order of fries. Don’t be shy of the older copies, either; often, the earlier editions not only have interesting recipes dropped from later printings, but old-fashioned tips and tricks. The Joy of Cooking, first published in 1931, should be in every kitchen, but the New York Times Cook Book (1961) is also important to have. Don’t neglect Julia Child’s classic Mastering the Art of French Cooking (1961) and The Boston Cooking-School Cook Book (also known as “The Fanny Farmer Cook Book”), originally published in 1896, available in numerous editions and reprints. Betty Crocker’s Cookbook (1950) and Better Homes & Gardens New Cook Book (1930) are also classics.

Cooking Techniques

Woks and slow cookers each had their hey days in popularity, but they haven’t disappeared from kitchens. In fact, they’ve become so incorporated into American kitchens that a cookbook on each technique is a must-have. Single-pot cooking, stews (not the same thing), soups, deep frying, barbecue, grilling (again, not the same as barbecue) and even campfire cooking are all integrated into modern American cooking. Perhaps even branch out and get volumes on kebab/skewer cooking, fondue and even sushi preparation.

Regional/Ethnic

Almost everyone has wanted to replicate a wonderful Chinese or Indian dish that they enjoyed in a restaurant, in their own kitchen. Unfortunately, both the techniques and ingredients that make those dining experiences so special are usually beyond the reach of people outside those ethnicities. That doesn’t mean that cookbooks on the cuisines of hundreds of nations, regions and cultures can’t be used to help create meals that are wonderful in their own right. Don’t narrow the selection, though, and neglect such cuisines as Finnish, Portuguese, Basque or whatever else strikes your fancy. There are treasures tucked away in every cook book.

Organizations

It is probably impossible to find a single church, synagogue or other religious congregation that hasn’t published at least one cookbook for fund-raising. Practically every other group, club, neighborhood organization, troop, lobby and even protest group has also collected their members’ favorite recipes as well. Don’t sneer at the mimeograph printing, spiral bindings, misspellings or earnest forewords, either: It’s rare that there isn’t at least one gem in each of them. The Camp Zama NCO Wives’ Club, 1958, for example, has a recipe for the best chocolate chip dessert bars ever created.

Buying these old cookbooks and just shelving them as “kitchen art” isn’t going to do the trick. Take the time to sit down and just flip through them. Be adventurous and try out at least one new recipe a week. After all, all you have to loose is your dietary boredom.

Burglars Aren’t Scared of Anything — Except This

adt-article8,000 Burglaries and home invasions take place every single day. It’s just a fact of life in today’s world – there are people out there who want to steal your things, and perhaps even hurt you and your family.

Whether it’s from desperation or something more nefarious (such as a gang initiation that randomly targets your family), your home is not the castle it was in the past.

Here are some troubling points:

  • Deadbolts don’t help. They can be “bumped” (a new technique that can unlock 90% of all locks*). Or, in the case of home invasions, the invaders will just kick the door in. No deadbolt can withstand a kick-in.
  • Fido is hungry. A piece of steak (or a bullet) takes care of your dog. Sorry, but it’s true. Gang members aren’t afraid of your dog.
  • A gun won’t help either – A burglar will come when you aren’t home. And home invaders or gang members expect (and may even want) a confrontation, and are ready with their own guns.
  • Fake alarm signs are useless too – Criminals know your “electronic security” is a bogus sign. They go to Home Depot too. In fact, they know all the fake names.

However, criminals, gang members, and home invaders fear ONE thing:

And that’s getting caught. They do not want the police showing up when they are inside.

And there is only one way to ensure the bad guys know the police will show up if they mess around with your home: having a genuine monitored home security system with a name everybody knows.

Not fake signs; not something you buy in the store; but a big national name that criminals know by heart. A name that’s advertised heavily, and says “the police will come immediately if you enter”.

One of the most common national alarm companies is ADT. Companies like ADT, advertise heavily for two reasons. The first is to (obviously) get customers. But the second reason is the more they advertise, the more effective their systems are in preventing break ins and home invasions. Criminals know the name, and avoid those homes displaying the sign and stickers, because they realize the alarm system is real, and has teeth.

Thus, the lesson is simple. If you want to protect your home from criminals, go with a monitored alarm company that you already know.
